I chanced upon the below photo on Instagram. Initially, I thought it was just a little interesting but then I couldn’t help thinking about it more.
In the first photo, look at the way the fabric of Leighton’s skirt is gathered around the heel of Blake’s shoe. Seems like there is some downward pressure. And the way Blake is leaning forward, it would be hard for her to balance if she didn’t have at least some of her weight on Leighton. In the first photo, Leighton’s expression is mock anguish but in the second she doesn’t look too happy. Seems like she might have been in pain or at least discomfort.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Regardless of how real the scene actually is, I feel sorry for Leighton having to pose this way. It seems very degrading and submissive. They’re quite young and I reckon they feel obliged to go with the “arstistic vision” of the photographer.
