Admin imabellyguy The temporary fixing for posts where they only contain Youtube & Instagram links: You can manually edit your older posts. So basically if you change a character or add an extra space in one of your older post, the plugin will then correctly embed your pictures or videos. We have over 100k posts - anit nobody got time to do this manually post by post. So we’ll hire some talent to fix this very soon. For most pictures hosted on imagebam.com etc You will need to copy the URL link only (left-click and highlight the URL and choose “copy”) and paste the URL into your browser and then it will take you to the picture.
tizooka @Admin I used to be able to post video links and the vid would show. It doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Could you investigate it please? Thanks ^^
Admin tizooka can you add an example here? Also make sure you disable your ad block for this site because I know that can interfer with videos not displaying

Admin tizooka I have had a look and found out why it’s happening for that website. Here’s a list of supported video embed websites that the forum supports. Unfortunately, Bellazone is not among them: https://s9etextformatter.readthedocs.io/Plugins/MediaEmbed/Sites/ However you can ‘copy & paste’ the video URL and paste it on IMGUR and it will create a “postable video” for this site:
tizooka Admin That’s odd, since I used to post all the other vids from this very site, and it let me do it. Also if it was a thing of no longer being supported, how come the old ones are still up?
Admin tizooka Some video URL’s are straight forward for system to auto-embed (they typically end in XXXXX.COM/VIDEO.MP4). However if some URL’s contain special characters or symbols (XXXXX.COM/!!!!VIDEO.MP4), it will break the video.

Admin 00swatcher I just google them. I don’t use one particular one. Just google download youtube videos or download from ok.ru. Those sites tend to shut down quickly or change their names a lot as their not really legit.

Admin MrL absolutely. There are dedicated threads for celebs but you do not need to add the content there. You can make your own brunch of custom topics ie topic for TV presenters etc as long as the thread is respectful to everyone, I see no issue.
