SEND @USERNAME ALERTS IN POSTS
I don't know about you guys but lately, it feels almost impossible trying to keep a mental track of who's replying to whom on our forum boards. There's no way of knowing if someone has already replied to you on a post unless they PM you. Wouldn't it be easier if you can simply get "notified" if someone either mentions or replies to your post directly?
Well you're in luck! Members can now use Belly, Inc's @username tags inside posts. If you own a twitter account, chances are, you know your way around @username tags. For those who don't, @username tags are a clever way of alerting someone that you have sent them a reply to a post. How does this work?
1. Add the name of the member you wish to alert with an "@" symbol like so:
2. They've now got an @mention through their profile!
3. Now they will see your post and reply back!
PLEASE NOTE: We are testing this feature and it's still in beta. At the moment to prevent our servers from clogging up, your viewed "mentions" will automatically be deleted after 7 days.
