Julie Ferrier at Marrakech du Rire 2012
In 2012, Jamel Debbouze, a most-famous Moroccan-French comedian and founder of the Jamel Comedy Club, hosted the 2nd edition of the annual international comedy festival known as the Marrakech du Rire. In that show, there is a sketch featuring Jamel and the French female comedian named Julie Ferrier. Julie Ferrier, in some sketches of her career, wore a snow suit. She said to Jamel she wants to join the Jamel Comedy Club. Later, she was doing a thing to impress him; she took off the snow suit, teasing and revealing her belly dance outfit, and then, she started to belly dance.
The first time I saw this was in late 2010s and I was mezmerized. Even the clip of this moment was uploaded on the Marrakech du Rire official YouTube channel for the 10th anniversary celebration; but unfortunately, it was removed and I can’t find it anymore.
