So I got a blackmailing email that started off by giving my password then threatened to release my viewing habits to my contacts and Facebook Messenger (which I don't have).
I believe it is fake given that they mention adult videos, which I don't watch, and recoding my webcam, which I don't have.
I mention it here because the password they gave was part of a data leak several years ago, but I had forgotten to update my password for this site until now, which was still using it.
I prematurely deleted the email in fear, when I should have taken the details of the sender and contents down.
But I am still a little shaken, nearly 12 hours later.
