(Lemme know if this topic is redundant or has already been done)
What are your thought on Movies you saw throughout the year? I'm starting with 2019 but hoping this can be used at the end of every year.
Here's my thoughts on 2019 in Particular:
Films of 2019 That I Liked (Seen in theaters):
Alita: Battle Angel
Avengers Endgame (mainly for the last fight scene, rest is just OK; taking a break from Marvel to avoid Superhero fatigue)
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Booksmart
El Camino
Captain Marvel (just OK)
The Farewell (thought it was just OK)
The Irishman
Joker
Klaus (make an exception for watching on tv)
The Lighthouse
Missing Link (Just OK)
Midsommar (but man it was messed up)
Parasite
Pokemon: Detective Pikachu (Cliche but fun)
Promare (Has 2 anime girls with bare midriffs)
Plan to See:
Ad Astra (gotta find a way to see it without giving Disney any more of my money)
How to Train Your Dragon 3
I Lost My Body
Jojo Rabbit (gotta find a way to see it without giving Disney any more of my money)
Knives Out
Little Women
Rocketman
Uncut Gems (heard its good, which is surprising for an Adam Sandler movie)
Weathering With You (waiting for Fathom Event)
Hated:
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (hated where they took the story, mostly saw for closure on the saga, was dissapointed)
Cats (was told it was fun when drunk & with friends. Made the mistake of seeing it alone and sober)
Refuse to See:
The 3 Disney Live Action Remakes (Love 2D animation. Mad that Disney’s throwing it under the rug)
