Looking for people for podcast.

Hey everyone! I've said it before but I really mean it this time. I really want to do a weekly podcast but I don't want to do it alone. Is there anybody willing to help out? It could be anything from geek talk to real life stuff and anything inbetween. I have Skype but never actually used and am currently unsure how to record a conversation with but I am willing to learn. Is there anyone on the site willing to join with me or at least help contriblute?

I'm interested in the whole podcast market, but I don't know much about it either. There's plenty of how-to guides though. In terms of audio, I hear Blue brand microphones are good. If you plan on including video, just about any web cam will due. I don't have a web cam or a Skype account, but I think podcast can also be done over the phone. Just do the research and it should all come together.

I need a good mic in general otherwise I wouldn't mind helping out. I will let you know as soon as I get one. I need one soon so...

Use camtasia, that's what people use to record audio and their screens. The quality is great and it's easy to use.

To be perfectly honest, podcast may not even be the right word. I was just thinking a weekly or biweekly discussion where myslf and a few others talk about stuff we've done and or seen as well as current events. It would also be nice to have other people to do co-reviews with me on Youtube.

I can't say I'd be good at it given the fact I'm fairly awkward when it comes to talking, but... I'd be willing to give it a shot? I know my laptop has a mic on it, that much wouldn't be an issue. Dunno how to record, though. And I would prefer not to show my face, at least not right at this moment. :P But I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Glad to hear it and don't worry, I don't want my face shown either. I just need to figure out how to record over Skype.

Doesn't Google have that option or something? o.o But, yeah, I mean, I'd be willing to maybe try it. I can't promise anything grand, and I'll be awkward at first, but it could be fun. :)
