I've never really seen him in a villain role before. Hell, off the top of my head, I don't think I've seen him in anything other than Stargate and Lincoln. Wonder if he'll just be doing the voice, or if he'll do the physical acting as well (in which case, going by Lincoln, he better thin himself out quick lol).

That was make-up, actually. He's been around since I think the 80s, but he did mostly independent stuff up until the year 2000 when he started doing TV series. Other roles where he's been a villain are "2 Days in the Valley", and "Wolf".

And now there is talk that Marvel wants to do a Ms. Marvel movie starring Katee Sackhoff. They want the Carol Danvers character to appear in Avengers 2, have a full solo movie where she becomes Ms. Marvel, then have her join the team in Avengers 3. Again, DC doesn't have a clue what to do with Wonder Woman, and Marvel is making them look like fools.

I think it probably helps that Marvel is its own film studio and thus directly owns most of their cinematic superhero flicks (with the except of Spider-Man and X-Men, since Sony and Fox don't want to give them up) whereas all of DC's big superheroes are owned by various, unconnected studios. Doesn't excuse them or anyone else for the BS surround Wonder Woman though.

I know Marvel was considering Nathan Fillion for Ant Man, which I would adore if only because it would reunite him with Joss Whedon, but sadly he doesn't know if he can commit to multiple movies like that since he's the lead on Castle. :/

Actually, DC characters are owned entirely by one studio: Warner Bros, who owns DC Comics itself. You're sorta right that Marvel has its own studio and Disney's blessing to do whatever they want, where as WB wants to micro-manage everything DC does in their movies. DC and WB don't want to take risks with their movies and are sticking to their safety nets of Superman and Batman all the time.

As for Nathan Fillion, all he has to do is star in Ant-Man and Avengers 3, that's all. He doesn't need to pull a Nick Fury and appear once in every single movie of the franchise.

Well, those were the reasons he gave, at least. I think they initially wanted to introduce him in Avengers 2 before getting his own movie after, since his character is the one that builds Ultron in the comics. I think they're going with Tony Stark building him in the movie, though.

Yeah, honestly, I don't what they will be doing with Avengers 2. Sure, some characters like The Falcon will be introduced beforehand, but if you include Ultron, Quicksliver, Scarlet Witch, pre-Ms. Marvel Carol Danvers, and pre-Ant-Man Hank Pym, that's a half dozen new characters in one movie, in addition to the half dozen main characters we already know. This movie will be insane, and Avengers 3 will probably be even crazier.

Oh, and I think Ultron will either be a creation of SHIELD gone wrong, or a creation of Thanos sent to Earth as a "second wave" attack.

I dunno if I want Ultron to be so directly related to Thanos, if only because hey already had him more or less send Loki to Earth with his army to wreck stuff. Besides, of what little I know of Ultron, he seems a tad too independent. Still, I have no doubt Thanos will be involved in some capacity, I know Joss Whedon wanted him to be a "threading villain," where you can feel his presence throughout before he actually shows up himself for the finale in Avengers 3.

Further more, Vin Diesel hinted a "merging of brands" within the Marvel movies that will happen years from now. This has sent the Internet into a frenzy because many think he's hinting that there might be a crossover between Marvel and Star Wars now that Disney owns both properties. Most likely, it will be Guardians of the Galaxy meets Star Wars, and it will be in 2020 or 2021, after the Marvel Universe movies and Star Wars Episodes 7, 8, and 9 are done.

Okay, so it's been all but confirmed, Avengers will have double the team members of the first movie movie. Along with the original cast, War Machine and Falcon will be in the line-up, as well as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and the Vision, and Ms. Marvel. Now I doubt all 12 team members will be fighting Ultron all by himself, so since the film is being filmed in many foreign countries, the team will be broken down into groups of 2-4 members, and will split up around the world to stop whatever Ultron's world dominating plan is.

Oh man, I trust Joss Whedon but those are a lot of characters. The movie should be 4 hours long at this point which I would love personally but it's not gonna happen. Jeremy Renner is gonna be pissed about Hawkeyes screentime again.

I'm pretty sure someone's gonna die. It pretty much has to happen now. My guess either Tony Stark or Nick Fury will bite it.

Haha, Nick Fury looks to 'bite it' in the new Captain America but as long as life model decoys exist he will never truly die.

Everyone's guessing that Nidk Fury will die in Cap 2. Unless they seriously plan on having 12 heroes against one villain, a few of the older cast have to die in order to make room for the new people. If they had the balls, Iron Man would die. Cap and Thor are safe, since they still have one solo movie each to do. There's talk of Black Widow having a solo movie, but that could be a prequel. Yeah, Hawkeye seems like the odd-man-out, and maybe War Machine, too. I'm just overjoyed this movie is happening, while DC can't seem to get their heads out of their asses with their movies.

Oh man, I knew they were planning ahead, but that's nuts! I'm a huge fan of what marvel has been doing with their movies, and at this point I would go see pretty much anything they made, even if it was called terdman :p

I saw that earlier today myself, such an outstanding montage. I had a major nerdgasm at the end, Josh Brolin looks and sounds incredible as Thanos!
