That series is horrid, unfunny, and disgusting. If it weren't for Lena Dunham being friends with Judd Appatow or Taylor Swift, she wouldn't have a career. She's the living embodiment of Hollywood's flawed system of "it's not what you know, but who you know".

Hey, don't blame Allison for the show; she's just another actress looking for steady work... though, being the daughter of a prominent news anchor, she's also been hit with her fair share of criticisms of nepotism. :-\

Oh, the most thinly veiled secret in Hollywood is that nepotism will get you everywhere. In Allison's case, did anyone else notice she scored the role of Peter Pan for NBC's live broadcast of that musical; the same network that her father just so happens to work for? Another example, look at Francis Ford Coppola. He wins Oscars for The Godfather and The Godfather Part 2, and the next thing you know, his entire family is in the film business and winning Oscars.

I dunno man. I mean if I had connections into the world of hollywood and wanted to make it big as an actress or actor why wouldn't I use them? Everyone I think in the business has to have some kind of connections in the business to get their foot in the door. And to be fair an opening only gets you so far. You still have to put out good content. I haven't really seen Allison Williams in anything outside of Get Out so I can't really judge her as an actress.
