Also, Kitana will probably never get her MK9 costume back, will she? 😥
Understandable. While the fatalities did put the franchise on the map, they were usually cartoonish and unrealistic. Now they are downright unsettling to look at, to the point even the developers of the games have nightmares over what they are animating. Still, I love the lore of MK, and its character designs.
And yeah, the days of MK9 and every female character fighting in an armored bikini are pretty much done. If we’re lucky, there might be mods or skins of previous costumes, or perhaps Sonya Blade will have a look similar to what she wore in MK3. Don’t count on it though.
