This can be the thread for other gamers out there like me who want to discuss video games they like, games they've been playing that they loved or hated, upcoming games, etc.

I haven't been playing a lot of games lately, but one day, I do hope to have part in making a video game. What a glorious occasion that would be, even though it'd take years, most likely.

I'm not a big console person, I usually go with tablet or cell phone games like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, Bejeweled, and Tetris.

I've played Bejewled before. That's fun. But I can't get games on my phone, hence why I tend to stick to consoles.

Sure I game, playing Deus Ex : Human Revolution currently. Love mass effect though can't get a hold of their previous titles! Haven't played much of it only at my mates. Apparently there is some sort of a story to follow and I don't like picking up things from the middle!

What do you like most about it, Mystery?

Character interaction, I loved everything from the crews dialogue during missions to everything heard on the Normany. Can't get enough of it.

That asides, I really enjoyed the gameplay from 2 & 3. Biotics ftw! How about yourself? Any favorite characters?

@TN You should give it a try, it's great fun.

@Mystery The character interaction is a definite big thing for me because I love how lifelike the characters are and how much I grow to like them as I continue to play. For number two, I was desperate to ensure that, well, you know, the end played out the appropriate way.

For characters, I like Joker because he's hilarious, Liara (my primary romance partner for my FemShep), Kelly (whom I love) and Jack. I've honestly loved all the squad members I received throughout the game because they each added something to the table. I'd say my least favorite was Kaidan from number one, but that wasn't due to his persona.

I prefer the first Mass Effect; I'm more into the RPG-like system than the 3rd-person shooter version. I'm rubbish at those; I think they changed it mainly to sell it to the consoles...

The first was fun, for sure. I loved the second, too, just as much. I'm not a huge fan of shooting games either, I'll admit, but I didn't mind so long as the RPG elements were still there.

I refuse to get the third game, however.

I haven't played Mass Effect 3 yet either, but apparently it's very good up until the infamous ending, and the extended version mostly fixes that. I am concerned for the future of Bioware though, they seem to have lost their way and many of the original staff have left in recent times.

I'll probably get the Wii U eventually, the Nintendophile that I am! I'm a bit behind on console gaming these days, though.

Playing The Witcher 2, Mass Effect 3 and Metro 2033: Last Light

Mass Effect 1 is still the best out of the 3 imho. It actually felt like a RPG in which you make progress. 2&3 feel too much like an ordinary shooter to me.
