Hey, have you heard those Movie Mockbusters, these are movies that copied the similar plot and titles, Mockbusters are alyways made with a low budget. These films are usually released on DVD at the same time as the mainstream film reaches theaters or video outlets,. The Asylum is one big company that made those. discuss about it.

Honestly, I don't like mockbusters. The ones I've seen, with the exception of maybe Scary Movie II, the only one I've seen, to not be funny or in good tastes. The jokes always feel either way too degrading towards specific people or are just generic and un-funny. Well, the "comedy" ones. The ones that are meant to capitalize on movies that are doing well? I've never seen those, but from what I've seen and read, I think they're a waste of time and energy, truth be told. That's just me, though. :P

Frankly, I find it funny that the Asylum movies are even made. When people talk about bad movies that actors have to star in so they can pay their rent or they are in trouble with a bookie, these are the movies they are talking about. They are as cheap as can be, often flat out bad, and are shameless in riding the coattails of whatever blockbuster movie they are trying to copy, but end up being vastly inferior to said blockbuster. But I guess if guilty pleasures are your thing, then you must be loving these Sharknado movies.
