Do I have to watch it to keep up with Defenders or can I just avoid it altogether?

Unfortunately, half the series is set-up for Defenders, so yeah, you kinda have to.

How about the fight scenes? Are they good at least?

There's one great fight that has drunken boxing. Otherwise, the camera work hurts in terms of what's happening on screen. The fights in Daredevil were far superior.

So it doesn't even have that going for it? A damn shame, but then again, I guess they simply couldn't keep up the quality for every single outing.

I just don't like it because it's too vague of a system. What if you don't 100% hate a program or movie, but don't 100% love it either? That why the loved it, liked it, indifferent to it, didn't like it, hated it system works the best.

I'll bet they just want people to judge their films by their covers rather than reviews like Redbox. You don't see the star ratings at the Redbox kiosks.

The problem is that it doesn't help the viewer decide if he or she wants to watch the movie or program in question. It just shows which movie or program is popular and which ones are not. And if we can use Transformers as an example, just because something is popular, it doesn't mean it's good.

Mini series about the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland that came out last year for the 100th anniversary. It was good but marred a bit by some soap opera drama. It's currently on Netflix.
