Fair point. Just hope they don't taint the quintessential coming of age director's work.

I wouldn't say it's a direct remake of John Hughes' work, but it's definitely looks inspired by it. Then again, the movie "Easy A" was a straight up love letter to John Hughes movies, and it was a hugh critical and commercial success that launched Emma Stone into superstardom.

Rihanna is set to play Marion Crane, which hopefully means we'll get to see her in the shower, as much as the censors will allow us to see.

She looks SOOOO much better with her hair out like that! I'm happy she's finally over her emo phase! :)

Could not agree with you more. In other news, Marvel continues to add to it's television line-ups, with Freeform and Hulu series.

Apparently, even Netflix will be getting in on the Super Bowl ad space.

A live action fantasy/martial arts TV series. Yeah, I've only waited my entire life for such a thing to exist!

I'm already gonna prep my DVR for this! Samurai Jack will always be a special part of my childhood. And that theme song was always so badass.

Here's a full length interview with the shows creative team and Jack himself:

I'm glad all the classic "Cartoon-Cartoons" from Cartoon Network's prime are making a comeback. Frankly, all of their current new stuff is utter garbage. Then again, I only watch Cartoon Network when babysitting my nephew, so who am I to complain?

MikeBrooklyn

I can go on about all the cartoons I love for a while; Seriously, there's alot. I would say Steven Universe is the only one I actively enjoy, with everything else they regularly air being c*@p. Since you're into more classic-style Cartoon Network shows Mike, I recommend this:

I will never not sing this shows praises.

Also, have you ever heard of Young Justice? It too was cancelled, but is now returning.

I still have yet to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Legend of Korra, both of which are universally praised as the greatest cartoon series of the past decade, so there's still that. And yes, I am aware that Young Justice is making a comeback. It was originally canceled because it wasn't selling enough toys. Yeah, because why bother making anything unless it exists to sell merchandise? I hate capitalism so much sometimes.
