I have been keeping a close eye on this. I am sure you were all aware of the recent server problems which caused this and other "forumup" forums to run sluggishly? Well, basically what's happened is our friend Raulken (the webmaster of forum-up) has devised an ingenious solution of catching and blocking spammers.
The code itself seems to be working like a dream for forum owners; there's noticeably less spam and already it's managed to block pages upon pages worth of IP's. What's happened in amongest catching all the "baddies" is the code has also blocked search engines and other search crawlers which has meant we (and other forum-up sites) are not showing up correctly on google.
Once Raulken notices the fault, I am sure he'll fix the problem.
