I prefer the word navel... i don't know why, it sounds sexier.

On the other hand, belly button sounds cute.

I use both, really. Navel for more in professional non-fetish environments, like if it come up in conversation or online, and belly button when it's on places like here or when posting, looking at or commenting on images or videos of it.

I guess I have to be the first to admit I'm actually turned off by "navel." I think it's because my mom uses it, and that grosses me out.

edit: I forgot to include that I also love the word "innie." There's something sexy about a non-fetishist describing their bellybutton, even if the term doesn't provide much detail.

I honestly HATE when a girl insists on saying 'navel.' If you ask me, it reeks of desperation to sound all 'mature.' Razz The double-b word may sound childish and ridiculous when a guy says it, but, most of the time, it sounds extremely cute (sexy, even) when uttered by a female voice. Embarassed

I figured I was opening up a huge can of worms by mentioning these. :? A lot of them I just heard in passing over the years; usually on some Entertainment Tonight story or late night talk show appearance. I'd gladly post the Katharine McPhee and Olivia Munn videos if I still had access to them. The Jessica Simpson and Katy Perry utterances are still widely available, though.
