It's great to see these interviews actually being discussed. That's the whole point of them. They are meant to spark interest.
I too would be very interested in hearing the dude's side of the story. I would be more interested in seeing the two come together and have a civil (moderated if necessary) discussion about some of these things. In fact, I have even planned for this exact scenario. There is actually a lot of discussion that doesn't make it to the final product of the interview for the sake of trimming some fat. bxbx realizes that every story is multi-sided and has already indicated that he is open to discussions, follow up interviews, and private conversations in the spirit of fairness. I would caution, however, that these types of situations can quickly degrade into mud slinging, name calling, and blame fests. It would be a true shame if this turns out looking like my website champions bxbx's opinion, Tummies & Navels champions the dude's story, and that we are somehow pitting fighters against one another. I will not be caught in the middle of something like that.
That being said, I would like to make it clear that the dude is free to approach me for interview, either by private message here or through contact on my website. The majority of my interviews are actually requested by the person I am interviewing. I had an existing line of communication with bxbx since we had worked together to release the Belly Love ISO. He is one of the few that I requested an interview from because of our interaction. I did not intend to show favoritism of any sort.
As to your final pondering point, I would suggest that you actually reach out to bxbx to ask his reasoning on the matter. We did discuss that in our interview. He was willing to answer all my questions but did ask that some be restricted to discussion between the two of us. I respected those wishes because we already covered so much ground. I also happened to agree with him that his answer to that question did not necessarily fit with the overall spirit of what he was trying to say.
Sorry to be so long winded.
tl;dr version: Get in touch with me or bxbx directly if you wish to have a conversation or interview.
I look forward to seeing The Dude side of the story by OBF or perhaps we should do one as mike suggested. lol
In all seriousness though, I respect everyone who was mentioned. Yes, you guise butted heads as you've said, but I am guessing there was a good reason for it. Perhaps you two had your own outlook on what a belly forum should be or wanting it run in a specific way. If this was the case, I would certainly like to know what, if any thoughts and differences you two had on these matters.
As an Admin here, if there is anything that would 'better' this forum for our members, I rather take the time to listen to what you have to say and the same goes for any member. On another note, I didn't realise how big of a part you played in shaping our history! Is it true the belly fetish article featured in wikipedia was your doing!? Amazing stuff.
You shouldn't be made to feel guilty, embarrassed etc just because you were voicing your thoughts concerns. As I've said many times here, i prefer members who are out spoken and tell it as it is.
What I don't get is, if BXBX was so happy with the ofb hosted at http://mnbvc61.proboards66.comwhy go out his way to basically create another belly forum. Surely he must have realised it would inadvertently cause conflicts among the members and the two forums right?
