I think movies had a profound effect on my pale vs. tanned outlook towards women's tummies. I remember seeing "Assassins" and in the movie, Julianne Moore is introduced in a cropped top and her pale, white belly is on full display. Then in "Desperado", Salma Hayek wears cropped tops and shows all of her naturally tanned belly. I think based on those two scenes, I prefer red heads with pale skin, and Latinas (and Desi Indians) with dark brown skin.
And Asians with golden honey skin and Africans with dark chocolate skin is just from personal experiences at the beach.
