As many of you may have already seen in the TV Commercials thread I have been hunting this TV commercial from several years ago for some time. As of this moment, I am still unsuccessful and am starting to come to realization that I may never find it. As I am still still having problems with picture uploading through imgur right now, I thought I would create this new thread dedicated to my sacred endeavor. I have dubbed my very possibly doomed quest: ***"The Legend of the Bare Belly Photo ID Commercial."***
Description:
"This young short haired brunette Caucasian woman wearing a blueish/purplish shirt goes to get her picture taken for some kind of photo ID. She walks into a photo booth and starts making sassy poses in front of the camera. The male photographer gets into it and keeps taking more pictures while the woman keeps posing. She eventually lifts up her shirt and a picture is taken of her bare belly. The commercial then ends with the woman getting her ID card with that same belly photo printed on it and walking away with a smile on her face. There was also a typical female narration over the course of the ad but I remember nothing of what it was saying."
I believe the commercial aired around 2006-2007. I saw it at least twice and both times were at night so probably between 8 pm and 10 pm U.S. eastern standard time. That is all I have to go on. I remember absolutely nothing else. NOTHING! Not the product, not the type of product, not even the brand name! Just the imagery described above.
I know that we've been over this before none of you guys (at least as far as current members go) were fortunate enough to see this commercial when it aired. I have tried blocked website as well. All TV ad focused websites I've looked at are centered around vintage commercials from the Nineties and before. I have also requested help in public forums like AOL Answers, Yahoo Answers, Ask.com, City-Data.com and Ubuntuforums.org as well as others but all to no avail. Unless I find any new websites or forums, all I can do at this point is keep searching the Youtube videos of recorded commercial breaks from the mid/late 2000's and hope that one of them will contain the lost treasure I've been searching for.
I guess I should consider myself lucky to have stumbled on to the discovery of that amazing Blood Omen 2 commercial and sometimes a man's luck just runs out. Therefore, I am now praying to The Great Bunny Ears: the holy deity of Cable Television, for enlightenment and perhaps even success on my great mission. (Yes I just made Him up but I've got nothing else left! Just let me have it!)
I will continue my quest. I am determined. I've noticed that a lot of members are changing their signatures. If I every do find that commercial, I will gif it (or get someone to gif it for me more likely). Then perhaps The Great Yun Fat Chow with a Shotgun may finally be able to retire as The Star Turtle's signature gif knowing that the position is in worthy hands.
