Hello peeps, all spam bot registrations have now been deleted. As you know, our forum is growing and it is gaining serious views, this kind of thing will continue to unfold. There was an onslaught of attacks from following hosts and if you run forums or have websites/ blogs of your own ...simply block them:
mail.ru
triolan.net
lipetsk.ru
*These hostnames and IP's have now been permanently banned from this forum. Also, from now on you can only register via an email activation using a valid email.* New members will not be about to sign up with a mail.ru address from today.
If this thing happens again in the future **MikeBrooklyn** will simply disable new registrations until I get back and fine tune everything.
Again, I would like to apologise for the disturbance that took place earlier today and I would really like to thank the mods for keeping me posted & keeping the forum clean. I know it was no easy task and a lot of time and effort was spent battling the spammers. Again this was all for our members, I hope they can appreciate the work that goes in maintaining this place and I thank them for their patience. That was some serious moderating and even that's an understatment! I wish I could have acted sooner but I was at work folks.
