How do I post pictures on forum?

Okay, copy the URL to the picture. Right above the emotioncons are the YouTube button and a button of the Mona Lisa for pictures. Press the Mona Lisa button and this will appear:

Paste the URL link inside these two brackets. If you think the picture is too big, simply paste the URL without the brackets and we can follow the link instead.

Hate to be the least tech savvy guy here, but every time I try to do this the thumbnails don't come out right and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Sorry again for not getting things- is your answer above still relevant or has the system completely changed since 2014?

How do I post photos from my collection / library? When I copy / save, there is a name but no url to paste. I tried clicking the "mona lisa" above the emoticons, and click-draging a photo into this text box. This works on other formats (gmail, for example) but not here. How can I make this work? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!

Then you're going to have to upload your pictures onto an image sharing site like Image Bam, Image Venue, or Pix Hosting, and then post the message board based URLs here.
