I am not sure about her being on Firefly, but I did find Jewel Staite’s belly button showing up in one episode of that show. For some reason there is a high chance of a female’s belly unintentionally showing in tv show seasons or episodes airing around 2002-2003.

I did find Amy Acker’s belly button poked out in Angel Season 3 Episode 12 “Provider”. The first two are from 16:00 minutes of the video, and the last one is from 33:00 of the episode.

Yeah, that's not possible, because she was never on Firefly. Unless you're mistaking her for Summer Glau or Jewel Staite.

She's definitely getting a bit of a paunch on her (presumably causing her bellybutton to get deeper). She's still really cute, though.
