I watched Charmed every single weekday when I was in high school. Must have seen every episode at least twice. I can't really explain any of the story development or even the basic plot outside of "There are three hot yuppie sisters living in a mansion in California, and they're real-life magical witches." But I can remember several specific outfits that Alyssa Milano wore on the show, and how they deliberately drew attention to her ridiculously sexy bare stomach and belly button.
I'm told that Charmed isn't bad at all compared to most campy supernatural TV dramas, but I was always so laser-focused on burning every second of screen time of Alyssa's midriff into my brain that I pretty much just zoned out whenever her belly button wasn't showing.
Since we're all of like mind here when it comes to this topic, I'll also take a moment to recommend the episode "Lucky Charmed" for your navel-viewing pleasure. Milano wears a pair very tight, extremely low-rise black pants with a long-sleeved black crop top all throughout. It's sexy as hell, even though the outfit does have kind of a pirate costume vibe. What makes it even sexier to me is that she goes to work at the office dressed like this, like it's no big deal. Seeing an attractive coworker wear a belly-baring outfit to work is still one of my favorite fantasies all these years later, and it's all thanks whoever was in charge of Alyssa's wardrobe on Charmed.
On a related note, there were a number of other episodes where she goes to work with her midriff and belly button exposed. In one of them she wears loose-fitting but very low-waisted black dress pants with a tiny blue super-cropped short-sleeved jacket thingy. I can't remember what the episode is called, but if anyone knows the title or where I could download a video of the episode (safely and preferably legally), I'd be grateful if they'd share!
