Does anyone have any scans or images from her Shape photoshoot asides from the cover? She actually mentions her outie in the interview so it would be cool to have it archived here.

Trust me -- I've read that article all the way through 2-3 times now, and there's no mention of her outie (in-betweenie to us more navel-savvy folks ;)) anywhere. I don't know how that urban legend started. ??? I can only assume it's because her bb WAS mentioned in the issue of Self that came out a few months later.

I'm personally still looking to replace that clip of her infamous (to us, at least) Teen Nick appearance from around that same period since my last hard drive died (and wasn't backed up :-\). If *anyone* who still has it in their possession could personally email or PM me their file for it, I will be eternally grateful.

I read the said Self magazine article. Part you're thinking of goes as follows: "5 Things You Didn't Know about Kat, #1. She has an outie bellybutton ... we don't know what else to say about that." Yeah, that's it, nothing special at all. The Nickelodeon clip of her confessing that she has an outie and pulling her it further out of her stomach is much better, but good luck finding it.

PS: If Kat has twice claimed her bellybutton as an "outie", then I claim that it's an outie. It certainly looks like an outie when you watch "You May Not Kiss The Bride", "Shark Night", and "Smash" in HD.

And I've always presumed that that's only because it's clearly not an innie. Again, the whole 'one-or-the-other' mentality that virtually all non-fetishists have. ::) Yeah, the top lip definitely sticks out, but side views show the rest of it definitely goes slightly inward. Believe me -- I've looked at it from every available angle. *A lot*.

But, seriously, nobody here has kept a personal file of that video saved in their computer? ???

I don't know. It's not like that detailed knob is hidden inside. It can be plainly seen at all times. It's not like it only becomes visible when the light hits it at the right angle, and as I said, it can be seen even clearer in HD. To this day, Michelle Branch is the only celebrity to use the phrase "inbetweenie" to describe her bellybutton. The irony being she was wrong, she actually was an shallow innie.
