I wouldn't call it dead; it's more on the back-burner since becoming a parent, for better or worse. That's social conformity for you. :-X Amazing how young people have virtually no time for anyone once they reach 35. ???
I'm just pointing out the painful truth of Hollywood. Sure, right now Jennifer Lawrence is adored by all, but will she still be if ten years from she's married, has a bunch of children, is no longer the perky girl that everyone wants to befriend, and is not starring in one or two blockbusters per year? Very few actresses go on to become Meryl Streep, still getting steady based solely on the caliber of her performances rather than her beauty. You may call it "social conformity", but it has always been the nature of the entertainment industry beast, especially with all the recent reports of Hollywood sexism towards actresses being "too old" for certain roles or choosing to be a mother over still working. I guess I'm just more keen on how the movie business works.
