Yes, I saw the announcement when she first posted it. It's a pity, but it was for her own health. She's still a pretty girl, but that cute outie was just an extra (and very welcome) bit of sex appeal.
I guess the only way you could have a large orb like that would also mean mean a health risk. Both of my parents had to get similar surgeries though it developed with them over a long period of time and theirs both looked far less even though. Hers was like symmetrically perfect.
She did post the "after" photo once the surgery done, and you're right, it didn't look THAT symmetrically perfect. Granted, she has had time to heal since then. Photoshop, perhaps?
