I'll hope you'll pass on the karma system or something alike. That already has destroyed more then one community in the past.

Personally I don't see the point in such a system in the first place anyway.

I quite welcome the thought of developing a more relaxed environment for members. I feel the last thing anyone needs is more aggravation. The 'Karma system' in my humble opinion, causes more problems than it solves. I rather opt for helpful features to enhance users experience, perhaps a mobile version of the forum? Bellies on the go! 8)

lol, it's an improvement over the default theme for sure. Plus it makes reading posts a joy. I've spotted two glitches though which I'll fix soon. Basically the social link icons for members aren't showing up correctly. It's something to do with the themes css or something but it's not a biggie. :-[ And the second one is when you're posting, underneath that Bold, Italics, underline icons, the "Youtube" button icon isn't showing up.

We'll make some moderate theme changes later on but we'll need to fix these bugs sooner. Arh and if you spot anything else wrong, lemmeh know mate!

I am working on a responsive theme (since half our users are using advance mobile devices/ phones). I've got the Menu already working. This is what's in the works for you mobile and tablet users:

I am pleased to announce the responsive menu project is working great. After I code in the "search" functionality, I will implement this here. At the moment, this is a work in progress. The final product will look far more attractive and will match our theme colors. I have also managed to add font-awesome icons - they look stunning btw. Our current nav, isn't user-friendly and doesn't show if a nav item has a sub menu. Usually you see a "down arrow" to indicate further items to a sub-nav item so I have coded this into the new responsive nav.

I previously thought the responsive nav will be one of the biggest challenges so I took on that task first. After a little bit of tinkering with our default theme, everything seemed relatively straight forward. Now we can relax folks. The next challenge is mostly complete and this is converting our theme into a fully responsive forum.
